Already accomplished as a pilot by age 17, Jason went on to learn aerobatics and started competing in various aerobatics circuits in the Pitts S-1S that he flies today. As one of the youngest aerobatic pilots flying in the US today, his career is already taking off. Jason has made a habit of ranking 1st place in just about all of the regional aerobatic competitions he attends.
Jason currently flies a Pitts S-1S built by Stewart Aeroplane Factory of Godley, Texas. The aircraft has many modifications and deviations from a stock S-1S. Most notably are the modified ailerons, wing tips and an extended rudder length. The aircraft features an overhauled Ly-Con AEIO-360 engine rated at 245HP. Many internal modifications were also made to strengthen areas of the wings and fuselage.
